Become a BESAFE Trainer
Each BESAFE Web Rom Training course participant must contact the NMAETC National Office to inform the training staff that they have completed the course. The NMAETC will review the course participation records (participant must regularly update their progress via internet connection) to insure that all areas were completed and associated date and time stamp is provided (required for continuing education credits).
After course completion is verified, the NMAETC will:
- Arrange a teach back session with the participant to ensure understanding and conveyance of the material. This teach back can be done in person if the participant is local to the NMAETC Regional Performance Site, or via the NMAETC Web Meeting Platform.
- After successfully completing the teach back session, the NMAETC will award a certification of completion.
- Continuing education credits are subject to requirements of the certifying organization. The NMAETC is in the process of gaining certification of this course material from the National Medical Association and the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
- Additional certifications for this course material is currently underway
